Stephen just announced he has won Top Selection on the JanSport ‘What’s Your Outdoors?’ video contest. He has won a JanSport pack for his short Danger Trail, featuring Brennan Mejia. Congratulations!
The contest consisted on filming a 360 view of your perfect outdoor spot in about 20 seconds.
Most days we’re concerned with studying and working. However every weekend, my two childhood friends and I meet at Malibu Creek Canyon, CA. We crave adventure and there is always a new one to be had here. It’s a 5 mile hike up Danger Trail but the view is worth it. It’s a place to breathe. A place to think. A place to escape. It’s our outdoors.

Congratulations are in order as Stephen is the winner of Doubleday’s book video contest, with his one-minute short for Daniel H. Wilson‘s new novel, Robopocalypse.
Lunsford explained his video in the release: “The definite inspiration for the short was the Alien (1979) trailer; in my opinion it’s the best movie trailer of all time … While I would have liked to have had more shots to add to the film, ultimately my cast/crew was mostly unavailable save for one afternoon and night. We shot the whole thing in about four hours in Toluca Lake/Burbank.”
After reviewing Legion with the people on Hensin Justice Unlimited, Stephen is back on HJU Radio to review Thor and chat about his latest projects, hobbies, etc.

Stephen reached over 3000 followers on Twitter and to celebrate the milestone, he did a Ustream with Erin Sanders yesterday. If you missed it, you can rewatch it here.

The video, shot in Los Angeles, has been directed and edited by Dannel Escallon with Bryant Jansen in carge of the cinematography; and feaures the song “Les jeunes pousses” by Françoiz Breut.
Yesterday Stephen was on the Henshin Justice Unlimited forums answering questions of the fans.
He said Dink will be back next season on Private Practice and right now he’s writing different projects with directors he has previously worked with.
